The ALBA countries show their support for Evo Morales amid tensions in Bolivia

The countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Treaty of Commerce of the People (ALBA-TCP) expressed their support to Evo Morales for the riot of police that exploded in several cities of the country and was qualified by the Bolivarian president as an attempted coup.

According to the document issued from Caracas, the support of ALBA-TCP member countries is provided to Bolivian institutions at a time when radical groups "try affect and ignore the constitutionality"of the Bolivian Government.

In addition, the political bloc condemned "the violent actions" and the leaders who urge the Armed Forces and the National Police of Bolivia to ignore the Government of Evo Morales.

In turn, the Bolivian president denounced a coup attempt by Estador in the country after a riot of police that exploded in several cities of the country.

From the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bolivia they said that the opponents they are pushing a plan with the objective of taking the Casa Grande del Pueblo, seat of the Executive Power.

ALBA-TCP, made up of nine countries in the Americas and the Caribbean, was established in 2004.
