In the wake of the fire on Saturday, November 9, 2019 which destroyed much of the town hall of Flers, the buildings are under guard. A team of firefighters remained on site during the night of Saturday 9 to Sunday 10 November.
This Sunday, November 10, 2019, a team of six firefighters remained from 19 pm and throughout the night on the site of the fire that ravaged the previous day, Saturday, November 9, the town hall of Flers. Fire soldiers have also kept some vehicles near the town hall, to monitor and prevent any further fire.
The device was lifted at 9 am but rounds will be done regularly this Sunday, as well as in the coming days. In the aftermath of the incident that required the intervention of 70 firefighters, the origin of the fire remains unknown. On Saturday, November 9, an investigation was opened and the first investigations of the scientific police began.
