The Tenerife CD develops a project to avoid school dropout


Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Nov 10 (EFE) .- The CD Tenerife, through its foundation, has launched the second phase of the project "Do not fall into play", with which it intends to avoid school dropout among young people footballers of different clubs of the island.

The entity has reported that it develops this initiative in the chains of subsidiaries of SD San ​​Jose, UD Orotava and EMF Adeje, with the aim of preventing early educational abandonment and improving academic and sports performance.

During this week, an important meeting was held at the headquarters of the Tenerife CD to launch the activity, which enters its second phase, in which representatives of the clubs that have joined the project participated.

The director of the project, the professor of educational psychology at the University of La Laguna Antonio Rodriguez, explains that “it is based on the power base of the Tenerife CD and its Foundation, going beyond the strictly sports with this project” .
