"We lacked faith and gave them too many facilities"

Madrid, Nov 10 (EFE) .- Luis Casimiro, coach of Unicaja, said after losing 82-71 during his visit to Real Madrid that his players lacked faith in the victory and regretted that they gave "too many facilities" to his rival , which prevented them from arriving alive at the end of the crash.

"It has been difficult for us to enter the game, especially at the offensive level. We have let a room pass without being aggressive and without determination and that has conditioned us," summarized the press conference technician.

This lack of determination worries him more in the offensive section since, in his opinion, his players were "more or less good" in defense.

"The rest of the game the team has tried to hold on to the defense but we have given too many facilities and lost balls that have cost us easy baskets and with the rebound they have punished us in second chances," continued the Spanish-speaking coach.

However, he highlighted the defense deployed by his players and the 22 offensive rebounds captured, "a very good mark against a team like Real Madrid", although it was not accompanied with the success in some shots that would have approached him on the scoreboard.

"We have lacked a little to believe more in our possibilities and to play with something more of confidence. We had some shots near the ring that we have failed and that would have helped us," he explained.

Finally, he expressed concern about the physical state of Jaime Fernandez: "He had a point of pain greater than he has been enduring and we have to assess it day by day to see if Wednesday can participate in the Eurocup match." EFE
