World leaders condemn coup in Bolivia and show solidarity with Evo – Juventud Rebelde


Several leaders and personalities of the world have expressed their rejection in social networks against the coup d'etat in Bolivia.

They have also reaffirmed their solidarity with Evo Morales and the Bolivian people.
Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, President of Cuba, also condemned the coup and said that the world must be mobilized for the life and freedom of Evo.

The president of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro categorically condemned the coup d'etat and called on the social and political movements of the world to mobilize to avoid the preservation of the life of the Bolivian native peoples.

Cristina Fernandez stated in her Twitter account: «In Chile, massive mobilizations for weeks call for the resignation of neoliberal president Sebastian Pineira and the armed and police forces brutally repress. Bolivia is called coup d'etat … ».

Instead, the founder of the Workers' Party (PT) and former Brazilian president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, repudiated the coup and urged citizens to defend democracy, "it is unfortunate that Latin America has an economic elite that does not know how to live with democracy and the social inclusion of the poorest, ”he added.

On the other hand Piedad Cordoba recalled the social achievements that Bolivia achieved thanks to the mandate and leadership of Evo.
