Decision today: Will the future be turquoise-green? – News

Since Friday, the exploratory talks have ended. Today, Werner Kogler (Green Party) comes to the press and talks about how things could go on.

The SPO, the FPO and Neos have quickly moved away from possible negotiations with the OVP. All that remained was the Greens. The last led intensive discussions with the turquoise. On Friday we met for the last time. Then it was said that they wanted to consult within the parties. On Monday, the OVP wants to announce whether coalition talks are coming up or not. The day before, Greens boss Werner Kogler appears in front of the press. At 4 pm he will explain if his party is ready for a turquoise-green future.

Three times green in Europe

The Greens made a sensational comeback in the Nationalrat election. After having been unexpectedly flown out of parliament in the election, they were able to win 13.9 percent in the early elections. This also made it the strongest green party in Europe, as Kogler was already happy on election night.

Across Europe, the Greens are represented in three governments: Finland, Luxembourg and Lithuania. Whether Austria will join us will be evident in the next few weeks. On sunday at least the first possible step will be taken.
