Jaume Munar wins Uruguay Open


Montevideo, Nov. 10 (EFE) .- Spanish tennis player Jaume Munar, trained at Rafael Nadal's academy, won the Uruguay Open on Sunday after beating Argentina's Federico Delbonis in the final 7-5 and 6-2.

With his victory, the 22-year-old added 80 points for the ATP ranking, currently occupies the 98th place, and received $ 7,200.

The triumph of this Sunday against Delbonis, number 77 of the world, marked the closing of a great tournament played by the Mallorcan, who throughout the competition beat Brazil's Rafael Matos, Slovak Jozef Kovalik, Argentine Andrea Collarini and also Brazilian Thiago Seyboth Wild.
