After the end of the flight attendant strike at Lufthansa, the flight operations at Stuttgart Airport is back to plan. On Saturday, no flights of the largest German airline have been canceled. This is apparent from the approach and departure boards of the airport. On strike days Thursday and Friday ten Lufthansa connections had been canceled – five to Frankfurt and five from there to Stuttgart.
The union Ufo calls for about 21,000 Lufthansa flight attendants higher expenses and allowances and better access for seasonal workers in regular employment. Ufo and the airline now want to discuss possible mediation. Both sides agreed strict silence. According to reports, the talks on Sunday are to begin in a secret location.
Due to the strike Lufthansa had canceled a total of 1500 flights on Thursday and Friday. The company spoke of about 200,000 affected passengers. Especially the hubs Frankfurt and Munich hit it.
