The gendarmes used a stop-stick bar to stop the vehicle trying to escape control. The five occupants, including the drunk driver, were heard.
In the night from Saturday to Sunday, between 4 am and 7 am, the gendarmerie had deployed a system of roadside checks on the area of Plelo (22), west of Saint-Brieuc, not far from a nightclub. Around 6 am, at the interchange of La Braguette, on the RN 12 expressway, a car refused to obey the soldiers who told him to stop.
The gendarmes then made use of a stop stick bar bristling with vertical points. While driving on it, the tires of the vehicle of the fugitives burst. He finished his race a few hundred meters away against the median.
