Suara.com – Raffi Ahmad as the boss of Rans Entertainment together with Rudy Salim, the owner of Prestige Motorcars, announced that they had acquired the Liga 2 club, Cilegon United FC, which had changed its name to Rans Cilegon FC, Wednesday (31/3/2021).
The Cilegon FC Rans will later be trained by experienced tactician Bambang Nurdiansyah. Meanwhile, the team manager position will be held by Hamka Hamzah.
Hamka, who last season still played for Persita Tangerang, has the opportunity to appear as a player. If Hamzah plays, he will become the manager and player of Rans Cilegon FC in Liga 2 later.
However, it all depends on Hamka’s condition. Bambang Nurdiansyah said the 37-year-old player’s chance to appear was quite big.

“It depends on Hamka. If you want to play, it depends on the conditions. League 2 can still do it, if you are diligent you will definitely play,” said Bambang when met in the North Jakarta area.
“But if you are not fit, just sit down as team manager,” added the racik interpreter who is familiarly called Banur.
Raffi as chairman revealed the reason for the appointment of Hamka as team manager. Tiru Persija Jakarta who appointed Bambang Pamungkas, Raffi wanted to give Indonesian football legends a chance.
“I want to open up opportunities for seniors. I have to give them managerial opportunities,” said Raffi Ahmad.
“Having talked with Persija Mas Panca (Mohamad Prapanca, President of Persija) Bepe was also given the opportunity to become a manager. Athletes if given the opportunity will be very good at managerial, because they know the ins and outs. Indeed, I personally believe in Hamka,” he said.
