Atletico vs Real Madrid prediction, Spanish League Big Match March 7

Suara.com – This week’s Big Match, the highest caste of the Spanish League, will be presented in a derby, Atletico will host city rivals Real Madrid at Jornada 26 La Liga, Sunday (7/3/2021).

The match that will be held by Estadio Wanda Metropolitano is predicted to be fierce, given the competition between the two top teams in the standings.

Atletico currently leads the standings with a collection of 58 points from 24 matches. While Real Madrid is in third position with 53 points from 25 matches.

Three points are very crucial for both sides. Atletico, who have slipped in the last few matches, have to add as many points as possible to get away from the pursuit of Barcelona (occupants of second place) and Real Madrid, and keep the chance of winning the La Liga crown this season.

For Madrid, three points must be taken home from the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano. Not only to cut the distance from Atletico, but also to get away from Barcelona which is getting tougher every day.

At the first meeting of the two teams in La Liga this season, Real Madrid managed to beat Atletico. In Matchday 13 which was held at Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano on December 13 last year, Zinedine Zidane’s team won a landslide victory by a score of 2-0.

Madrid’s victory was obtained thanks to Casemiro’s goal in the 15th minute and Jan Oblak’s own goal in the 63rd minute.

However, in the second volume of the Madrid derby this season, it is predicted that Madrid will find it difficult to beat Los Rojiblancos, given the player’s injury problem.

Meanwhile in the Atletico camp, coach Diego Simeone certainly no longer wants to miss points from his city rivals. With a squad that is fairly complete due to the lack of player injuries, Simeone is certainly optimistic that he can secure full points in this Madrid derby.

Simeone’s support in this match remains on Luis Suarez’s shoulders. Suarez, who has scored 16 goals in the La Liga event, is certain to be the banging on.
