Death Stranding Composer Leaves Kojima Productions To Go Free Floating

Kojima Productions Sound Engineer and Death Stranding Composer Ludvig Forssell in my microblog announced his decision to leave the Japanese studio.

Forssell worked for Kojima Productions for 10 years, during which he managed to write music for PT (an interactive teaser for the canceled Silent Hills) and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

The musician was prompted to leave Kojima Productions by desire “Chase your own future” as “Freelance composer” – Forssell now has a personal website.

“It was just a bomb! Thank you KJP (Kojima Productions – approx.)! Now I will be happy to take on many projects in a wide variety of media directions “– shared Forssell.

The Japanese studio did not stand aside and wished a former employee of a happy journey: “Good luck in your new endeavor and look forward to continuing to work with you!”

What exactly Forssell will do in a new role for himself, the composer did not specify. In October 2020, the musician announced his participation in an unannounced project not for Kojima Productions, but there are no fresh details about this.

Kojima Productions doesn’t sit still either: in the same October 2020, the Japanese studio announced a recruitment to the development team for a new game, of which Forssell, apparently, will no longer be a part.
