New York – Denver basketball players in the NBA surprisingly easily defeated the third team of the Milwaukee Eastern Conference 128: 97. The star of Tuesday’s duel was Serbian pivot Nikola Jokic, who recorded the fiftieth triple double in his career and ninth in the season. He played 37 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds against the Bucks and overshadowed Janis Adetokunb, the most useful player of the past two seasons. The Greek star scored 27 points and eight rebounds, his team lost after five previous wins.

After Wilt Chamberlain, Jokic is the second pivot in history to reach half a hundred matches with double-digit numbers in three statistical indicators. While the legendary Chamberlain needed 703 matches, the 26-year-old Nuggets center had 416.

“This proves what a star it is,” coach Michael Malone said to Jokic. “Nikola is never tired. When he sits on the bench, he begs his teammates for a good rebound, a good defense and explains how to move the ball. When your best player behaves this way, he passes on a clear message to the others.”

Like the Nuggets, he achieved his third victory in a series in Boston, beating the Los Angeles Clippers 117: 112 at home. Kemba Walker contributed 25 points to this, in the opponent’s team, in the absence of support from Kawhi Leonard, he excelled with 32 points, including five triples Paul George. The Clippers lost for the third time in the last four matches and dropped to fourth place in the Western Conference.

Even the Los Angeles Lakers, whose scalp was won by Phoenix after winning 114: 104, failed at home. The Suns triumphed despite the dismissal of Devin Booker, whom the judges sent controversially into the showers in the third quarter for throwing a ball at one of them. Phoenix replaced the Lakers at the head of the Pacific Division and second in the conference table behind Utah.

The shooting leader of the winners was Dario Šarič with 21 points and the Suns hit 16 of the 29 threes. The Lakers still miss the injured Anthony Davis, LeBron James scored 38 points and was the top scorer in Tuesday’s program.

Last season’s best rookie Ja Morant helped Memphis win 125: 111 in Washington with 35 points and 10 assists and surpassed league cannon leader Bradley Beal. The one with 23 points, which is his second worst performance of the season, lagged behind his pre-match average (33.2), the same number was recorded by Russell Westbrook, who added 15 assists.
