Draw against Udinese, where does AC Milan’s quality go?

Suara.com – AC Milan stumbled again in the Italian League. The Rossoneri failed to reap full points after only being able to draw 1-1 with Udinese at the San Siro on Thursday (4/3/2021) early morning Western Indonesian Time.

In the match in week 25, AC Milan almost lost. They fell behind first after Gianluigi Donnarumma’s goal was broken into by Rodrigo Becao in the 68th minute.

Until injury time, the score 0-1 for Udinese’s lead continued before Franck Kessie heroically saved AC Milan with his goal from the spot in the 90 + 7 minute.

Pioli emphasized that Milan from the start wanted to win in this match. However, he did not deny that his team had lost the quality and rhythm of play needed.

“I see determination and a lack of clarity. There is a lack of quality and rhythm, not anger and determination, “Stefano Pioli was quoted as saying by Football-Italy, Thursday (4/3/2021).

Despite highlighting the quality of his own players, Pioli did not close his eyes to Udinese’s style of play which he considered so defensive that he called it a “team that doesn’t want to play football”.

“On Sunday [menghadapi AS Roma] we found an opponent who wanted to play, Udinese instead played this type of game, “explained Pioli.

“We want to win, too bad. We know it will be difficult against a team with everyone behind the ball, “he explained.

The draw made AC Milan fail to cut the difference in points with Inter Milan as the top of the standings. The Rossoneri are now collecting 53 points, three points behind Inter who will play the match in Week 25 against Parma on Friday (5/3/2021) early morning Western Indonesian Time.
