Clotilde Armand announces that the former management of the Local Police Sector 1 spent last year, in a state of emergency, hundreds of overtime hours: “There are 300 beneficiaries and about 2 million lei wasted for these blatantly questionable increases”. Beneficiaries must give the money BACK.
“The former management of the Local Police Sector 1 spent hundreds of extra hours unnecessarily last year during the state of emergency. Thus, the heads of the Local Police Sector 1 doubled their incomes with overtime that is difficult to prove. All these policemen were close to the old administration. Nobody knows how these bonuses were granted. These policemen had the consent of the former administration and it was enough for them. There are 300 beneficiaries in the local police and about 2 million lei wasted for these blatantly questionable increases “, announces Clotilde Armand.
The mayor adds that he decided, together with the new director of the Local Police Sector 1, to impute the amounts granted and all the beneficiaries to return all the money from March to September 2020.
“A single head of service took over 40,000 lei extra doing nothing (well, not really anything. They cut my tents in the election campaign, watched me at events and tried to sabotage them, took footage from the surveillance cameras in the Electoral Bureau of the Sector and distributed them to some PSD members or to the televisions close to them to accuse us of electoral fraud). That is why the reorganization of the local police was so important. All those who did not understand that he does not go with the political police, with the tolerance towards the real estate mafia or any illegality will fly out of office ”, claims Clotilde Armand.
