Suara.com – President Jokowi this morning Wednesday (31/3/2021) conducted a review of the Covid-19 vaccination program for banking and capital market industry players at the Indonesia Stock Exchange Building (IDX).
Jokowi is not alone, he is accompanied by Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Chairman of the OJK DK Wimboh Santoso and President Director of BEI Inarno Djajadi.
According to Jokowi, the banking and capital market sectors are an important part of moving the national economy amid the pandemic, so this sector is one of the government’s priorities to get vaccines.
“Therefore, this morning we are carrying out massive vaccinations in the banking and capital market, especially for those who deal with customers and the public every day,” said Jokowi in his remarks.
Mass Vaccination, UII Started Face-to-Face Lecture
Jokowi hopes that after getting the vaccine from the banking and capital market industry players, the activities of this sector can be protected from the transmission of the Covid-19 virus.
“After being given the vaccination, I hope that it will run normally as usual,” he concluded.
The government noted that up to March 28, 2021, as many as 10.49 million Indonesians had received the Covid-19 vaccine, details of which 7.25 million people have received the first dose of vaccine and 3.24 million people have received the second dose of vaccine.
