– J … c Polish Television, Jacek Kurski: ch … you in the gum – raps in the latest song Mata, the son of a lawyer prof. Marcin Matczak. Within 24 hours, the music video gathered nearly 2 million views.
Mata decided to follow the blow and use the success of the first single “Patointeligencja” two years ago, considered by some to be a manifesto of the young generation. The message was very simple: dressed in sweaters, students of a renowned high school in Warsaw from wealthy families spend their free time drinking alcohol and taking drugs. The song was praised by the rapper’s father, Marcin Matczak – a lecturer at the University of Warsaw and a strong opponent of the judicial reform implemented by PiS.
The 20-year-old did not change the convention, but this time he expressed his opposition to the public media in a vulgar way. In the single, he mentioned in various contexts, inter alia, Olga Tokarczuk, Kuba Wojewódzki, Jarosław Jakimowicz, sports commentator Tomasz Ćwiąkała or prof. Krystyna Pawłowicz.
In “Patoreakcja” there are many references to the current politics. – And the PiS media would like to deal with Senior Mat. He is a holy man. And what I do is my choice and I will answer for it one day – Mata raps.
– So listen carefully: eat Polish Television! Jacek Kurski – ch … those in the gum! Stop persecuting my family, because I would like to grow up in peace – added the young artist, referring to the words of the controversial businessman Zbigniew Stonoga.
The composition was not liked by the judges of the Constitutional Tribunal. Ugly face, ugly interior. Ugliness – commented prof. Krystyna Pawłowicz.
Mata’s work is admired by the KO MP Klaudia Jachira, for whom “Patoreakcja” is a loud voice of the young generation. – New Mat: they spat on him for a year, so he answered them! It is a clash between the real voice of the young generation and the TVP propaganda machine, a clash between youth and the bastards powered by billions from the public purse. Guess Who Wins? she asked.
In an interview with Kuba Wojewódzki in “Polityka”, Mata admitted that he had consulted the vulgar lyrics of the song with his father in terms of trial. – He said that the literary phrase “ch … you in the gum”, like the phrase “sp … j”, is not a defamatory phrase. It is also not an urge to do this to the president – the rapper quoted.
He also turned to the president of TVP Jacek Kurski: – I do not say this as the voice of the generation. I just reply as a rapper to the guy who dissed me. This is how I treat it – said Michał Matczak.
