Trinity CollegeDouglas Leith, an important report on Android shared. According to the research results, Android collects 20 times more data than iOS users.
It is determined that the result is obtained from telemetry data transmitted directly to companies responsible for iOS and Android operating systems. Stating that the data flow in smartphones is high, ArsTechnica says that iOS and Android devices are continuously collected wirelessly and sent to relevant companies. It is stated that even if users disable data collection in privacy settings, data continues to be collected in the background. It is mentioned that after the SIM cards are installed on iOS and Android devices, the data is sent to Apple and Google. It is stated that data is collected even when the devices are not used.
iOS uses services such as Siri, Safari and iCloud to send data to Apple. Android users, on the other hand, can receive data from applications such as Chrome, YouTube, Google Docs, Safetyhub, Google Messenger and Clock, even if they do not open a Google account.

Is it possible to avoid sharing data?
According to the research, Android initially sends about 1MB of data to Google, while iOS sends about 42KB of data to Apple. When the device is not in use, Google sends 1 MB of data every 12 hours on the platform, and iOS 52 KB. Underlining that Google collects 20 times more data than iOS, Leith states that it is very difficult to prevent this situation.
