Ponte Cafforo, doctor dies crushed by his car
Also yesterday morning another man died following a road accident: around 9 am in the province of Brescia, general practitioner Samiee Shahrokh was crushed by his own car. The 67-year-old was checking the car’s engine with the hood open when at some point – probably because it had run out of handbrake – the car started to move, dragging it for several meters. The alarm was raised by a woman who heard the doctor’s screams. The firefighters and 118 personnel intervened on the spot. The man was transported in red code to the Spedali Civili in Brescia where unfortunately he died a few hours later.
