“Welcome to the family, Lara,” said a news host on the Fox and Friends program when it was announced on Monday that Lara Trump was joining the right-wing television channel Fox News.
Lara Trump, who is married to Donald Trump’s son Eric Trump, will analyze and share her opinions with Fox News’ viewers when she becomes part of the Fox team, and she was welcomed with applause, writes The Gaurdian.
This is not the first time she has appeared on the TV channel. For the past five years, she has been regularly toned down and has shared her views on American politics, most recently in the 2020 election campaign, when she was a frequent guest in the studio to talk about her father-in-law, Donald Trump.
‘I kind of feel like I’ve been an unofficial member of the team for a long time. Over the past five years, I have come here so often that the security guards joked that I should have my own key, “Lara Trump said in the program.
The 38-year-old former TV producer is now emerging after staying on the sidelines or behind his father-in-law in recent years. Among other things, she has been an adviser to Donald Trump during the election campaigns, in 2016 she was the prime mover of ‘Trump-Pence Women’s Empowerment Tour‘, and when her father-in-law became president, she became responsible for fundraising for the president. And then she’s the mother of two of Donald Trump’s grandchildren – Eric ‘Luke’ Trump and Carolina Dorothy Trump.
