The Judge Has Not Rescheduled The Corruption Case Court Against Mark Sungkar

Suara.com – The Jakarta Corruption Eradication Panel of Judges has not rescheduled the defendant Mark Sungkar’s follow-up trial on the alleged corruption of triathlon funds. The reason is that until now, Shireen and Zaskia Sungkar’s father is still being treated for positive Covid-19.

This was confirmed by Mark Sungkar’s lawyer, Fahri Bachmid. “There is no trial agenda yet,” Fahri told Suara.com, Tuesday (30/3/2021).

According to Fahmi, the trial would resume after Mark Sungar was declared cured of Covid-19.

“Because according to the decision of the panel of judges, until Mr. Mark recovers first, he can continue the trial,” Fahri added.

Until now, Mark Sungkar is still undergoing intensive treatment at Pertamina Hospital. “Still being treated,” said Fahri.

Previously, Mark Sungkar was declared exposed to Covid-19 in mid-March. As a result, the corruption trial which was usually held every Tuesday was postponed until Mark Sungkar recovered.

Mark Sungkar, who is the Chairman of the Indonesian Triathlon Federation (PPFTI) Central Executive, was arrested for being accused of a corruption case.
