Epic Games has released an update for Fortnite on Nintendo Switch. The patch has improved rendering algorithms to make better use of the console’s GPU. This resulted in increased performance and resolution, as well as a decrease in the game file size by about 140MB.
Fortnite continues to use dynamic resolution to provide consistent performance, however “expected” performance has increased. If before the update it was 1000 × 560 pixels in portable mode and 1390 × 780 pixels in docking mode, then after – 1170 × 660 and 1560 × 880 pixels, respectively.
“The update will also provide more stable frame rates and less stuttering, which will significantly improve the gaming experience.”, – added by Epic Games.
