The long-awaited OnePlus 9 Pro is finally available, but where to buy it?

The OnePlus 9 Pro is a smartphone that definitely marks the real move to premium for the Chinese manufacturer. It has only just been released, so you are probably wondering where you can find it at the best price? Follow the guide to find the best deal of the moment.

OnePlus had made a first attempt in the very premium segment with its 8 Pro, but as usual the photo part was a little too behind to claim to equal the best smartphones on the market. For its OnePlus 9 Pro, the Chinese manufacturer then tries to correct the situation by forging a partnership with Hasselblad. The efforts are very present, it is also not for nothing that it was awarded a score of 9/10.

Where to buy the OnePlus 9 Pro?

As of today, the OnePlus 9 Pro is available from 919 euros for the 8 + 128 GB version, then add an additional 80 euros for the 12 + 256 GB model. You will therefore note that the Chinese brand wanted to keep a price of launch below the symbolic 1,000 euros mark.

All about the OnePlus 9 Pro

OnePlus 9 Pro

At first glance, this new OnePlus 9 Pro seems quite similar to its predecessor. The format of the phone is still imposing with a screen diagonal exceeding 6.7 inches, but the size once again has the merit of remaining below the 200 grams mark. It’s even 2 grams lighter than the OnePlus 8 Pro. The curved edges are still there and have been redesigned to avoid unwanted handling when you have the smartphone in hand.

When you see the back of the 9 Pro, you can definitely see a big difference with the old high-end model of the Chinese brand. The photo module is no longer arranged in a straight line in the center and takes the shape of a rectangle in the left corner. We quickly notice the highlighted Hasselblad logo, the OnePlus partner photo expert.

The device consists of a 48-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle, an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. What we appreciate is the effort to offer consistent colorimetry between the different sensors, without forgetting a very convincing focus. It still lacks a bit of versatility and sharpness in the angles to claim to equal a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for example, but we are finally getting closer.

Coming back to its screen, you should know that OnePlus achieves a real masterstroke. In addition to being very bright with colors faithful to reality (configurable from the options, the OnePlus 9 Pro sound panel is AMOLED, with a QHD + definition of 3120 x 1440 pixels and a refresh rate ranging from 1 Hz at 120 Hz, therefore adaptive. Its calibration also supports sRGB and Display P3 spectra, as well as HDR10 +.

Such a high-end smartphone in 2021 must obviously integrate the most powerful chip from Qualcomm, namely the Snapdragon 888, supported by 8 or 12 GB of RAM in LPDDR5 depending on the model chosen. This configuration is quite simply the most powerful in the Android world at the time of this writing, with the promise of playing all the 3D games of the moment with graphics pushed to the maximum. The user experience will of course be perfectly fluid, and all the more pleasant with the new update of the Oxygen OS interface based on Android 11.

Autonomy is not left out with a well-managed 4,500 mAh battery thanks to a processor that manages its power and potential energy loss very well, as well as the adaptive screen that can go down to 1 Hz. So count a good day of use, but it is difficult to imagine someone breaking down with the very efficient charging systems he offers. Wired at 65 W, you can recover 80% in 20 minutes, and 100% in 30 minutes. In wireless at 50 W, it takes only 45 minutes to fully charge the OnePlus 9 Pro.
