BOR will be organized in an exemplary manner for the following holidays

The announcement of the prime minister regarding the free access to the Resurrection service is rigorously inscribed in the logic, in the letter and in the honest spirit of the dialogue held this year between religious cults and authorities, transmits the spokesman of the Patriarchate, Vasile Bănescu.

The Resurrection Service, in the Orthodox ritual, unlike the Catholic one, takes place between 00.00-04.00.

“It was thus decided, in a predictable way, the unhindered access to the Resurrection service of all Christians, as well as of the believers of the other cults in Romania to the religious services occasioned by their holidays in the following period. This, because participating in a religious service involves piety, order and good manners, not disorder, ignorance of others and inattention ”, is the message sent by Vasile Bănescu.

The access of the faithful to the church on Easter night will be possible only on foot or by personal transport.

“Also, as it is known, the part of the Resurrection service attended by most of the believers takes place outside, in the churchyard. Of course, everything must take place in the conditions of very careful observance of the health safety measures that now involve and demand the responsibility and common sense of us, of all of us. BOR will be organized, as before, in an exemplary manner for the following holidays. Details about the organization of the Flower and Easter services will be communicated next week “, added Vasile Bănescu.
