Petersburg opposition parliamentarians were outraged by the fact that only the initiatives of “United Russia” were included in the agenda of the plenary session at the Mariinsky Palace. This was stated by the deputies Maxim Reznik and Oksana Dmitrieva.
“We are forced to discuss social issues only within the framework of the proposed agenda. But the opposition proposes to increase pensions to the participants of the Great Patriotic War or to cancel the pension reform, and these important issues are discussed only at the commissions, but not at the plenary session, ”said Maksim Reznik.
Oksana Dmitrieva stressed that two well-developed initiatives from the opposition were sent to the table – on the indexation of pensions for working pensioners and the reduction of the retirement age.
“Recently, the Legislative Assembly of Sevastopol adopted an initiative to index pensions for working pensioners and submitted it to the State Duma. And we cannot consider this initiative for a whole year! The same applies to the return to the previous retirement age. In Russia, life expectancy has dropped by two years, and it would be high time to consider such an initiative, ”Dmitrieva said.
The deputy from the “United Russia” Denis Chetyrbok, in response to the claims of the opposition, said that all their initiatives were “not worked out.”
