Repairs to highways and national roads have begun


Repairs will be carried out on highways and main national roads, with a high volume of traffic, between April 1 and June 30, 2021, announces the National Infrastructure Management Company (CNAIR).

For highways, filling works will be carried out in the pits – 85 km, clogging of cracks and fissures in asphalt pavements – 424 km and clearing and unclogging ditches and ditches – 98 km.

Regarding the national roads, pit fillings are expected – 880 km, the repair of bulging surfaces – 23 km and clogging of cracks and crevices in asphalt pavements – 658 km.
There will also be shoveling on porous surfaces, clogging of cracks and joints in clothing with hydraulic binders, profiling of sidewalks by manual or mechanized cutting, filling with earth, ballast, removal of material resulting from snow removal, clearing and unclogging. ditches, deforestation plantations in the area and in green spaces.

During March – April 2021, technical revisions were performed on national roads and highways under administration.

The inspections are carried out to assess the technical condition of the road infrastructure in order to remedy as soon as possible the damage to the road.
