In 1999, American Pie landed on our screens. This schoolboy comedy, emblematic of American teen movies, followed the adventures of 4 teenagers in search of losing their virginity. Very quickly Jim, Kevin, Oz, Finch and the unbearable Stifler conquered the hearts of the spectators. They were back in 2001 for a second adventure, then in 2003 for Jim and Michelle’s wedding. We thought the characters buried by Universal, but they were still back in the cinema in 2012 for an alumni reunion. A new episode in the same vein as the previous ones and still so hilarious. Since then, many fans have been clamoring for new adventures for the merry band of friends. In 2018, Tara Reid hinted that the characters could reunite for the franchise’s 20th anniversary in 2019. She announced that she had discussed with the directors and that they were going to do another one. Since radio silence, finally until the recent new interview with Tara Reid.
During an interview for Entertainement Tonight, the interpreter of Vicky since the first opus has once again confided that American Pie will be back soon.
“It’s going to happen. Ok, I can’t tell you when, because I don’t really know when yet, because we need all the actors at the same time to work out our schedules. has a script that’s ready, that’s all I can tell you. I read the script, and it’s one of the best in the saga. It’s awesome, this 5th movie is going to happen, I just don’t know when. ”
You would have understood it, Tara Reid confirms that a fifth installment ofAmerican Pie is well and truly in preparation on the side of Universal. It remains to be seen when the film will be released!
